How soon after a deal closes does the broker receive commission?

Commissions are paid according to the agreement fee schedule and after member payments have been processed and received by NeueHouse.

In what form should a broker expect to receive payout on a commission?

An invoice should be sent to the NeueHouse accounts payable department. All brokers will need to be set up as vendors before payments can be processed.

Can brokers be commissioned on bringing in a referral that isn’t a client of theirs (i.e. a friend or cousin)?

No – the client will have to be qualified per our Broker Terms

Can clients do custom buildouts at NeueHouse in dedicated private offices?

It is a case by case basis; all design requests must be approved by the NeueHouse design team.

What is included in Total Contract Value?

Total Contract Value is the net committed Membership Fees for the member’s commitment term up to the fee schedule in the membership agreement, net of any discounts. Note, the commission excludes any design and customization or any additional honored services, as defined in the Member Agreement. Total Contract Value does not include any annual fee escalation amounts unless reflected in the contract fee schedule.

Who will handle the communications with the client during the search stage?

NeueHouse can manage all communications with referrals if preferred by the broker or the broker can take control of the process. He or She should let us know preferred communication handling once qualified as eligible for the partnership.
