In conversation with Art in America’s assistant editor Emily Watlington, Sargent, who guest-edited the just released “New Talent” Issue, weighed in on a range of topics, from the influence of money on young artists’ appetite for risk to the importance of hearing from different voices in the Art World to the changes (or lack of changes) within cultural institutions.
