In Sheep's Clothing

Last week, In Sheep’s Clothing, the one-of-a-kind HiFi bar that built a dedicated fanbase in the Arts District before shuttering due to the pandemic, kicked off its summer-long takeover of NeueHouse Hollywood’s top floor.

After the past year of isolation, it was a magical, if somewhat surreal, experience to be sharing spaces and listening together again. And listening, deep listening, is what In Sheep’s Clothing is all about.

Spread across NeueHouse Hollywood’s indoor and outdoor spaces, the indoor listening room was decked out for pure auditory bliss, transforming the space into a dedicated, immersive listening environment, centered around an incredible HiFi sound system. What may at first seem strange to the uninitiated, quickly gave way to a meditative and transportive experience, with those in attendance absorbing curated album sides with rapt attention. Outside, guests mingled, sipped and snacked while the LA sky did its magical thing, keyed to a soundtrack crafted by the team at In Sheep’s Clothing.
