Upstate Art Weekend

Nothing says summer in New York like getting out of it. This month, we partnered with Lucid on an excursion upstate as members escaped the city to immerse themselves in art, nature, and new perspectives at Upstate Art Weekend. The annual arts festival, now in its fifth year, featured over 100 participants, including local arts organizations, galleries, museums, residencies and creative projects.

After meeting for breakfast at NeueHouse Madison Square, attendees caught a ride with Lucid to Upstate Art Weekend and Open Studios at STONELEAF RETREAT, an artist residency and connective space focused on supporting womxn in the arts. Featured artists included ARTNOIR fellow Adrienne Elise Tarver, Baxter Street fellow Joiri Minaya and STONELEAF alum Moko Fukuyama.
